Virtual Clarity kicks off rugby charity partnership with Project Turn-Over

London UK, 2 April 2019 - Are you ready for a partnership that’s going to knock you off your feet? IT transformation specialist Virtual Clarity and Dutch sport rehabilitation initiative Project Turn-Over are teaming up to emulate Turn-Over’s incredible success in Holland over here!

What the Ruck? Well, following a successful summit in London in October, the two companies have gone for full touch contact and signed a three-year partnership, with the goal of setting up Project Turn-Over in the UK. The initiative kicks off at 14:30 GMT at the Amsterdam 7s tournament in June 2019.

“As part of our ‘Give a Damn’ program of giving back, Virtual Clarity is thrilled to be helping Turn-Over, a groundbreakingly intensive rugby-based program, helping young adults to change paths and, by doing so, their lives,” said Virtual Clarity managing director Steve Peskin. “The unparalleled success rate of Turn-Over is truly inspiring, and we look forward to replicating their phenomenal achievements here in the UK.”

Turn-Over is a proven rugby-centric program that has helped over 300 youths to successfully exit institutionalization and join the scrum of mainstream society. Each Turn-Over class removes sixteen of its members from alternative provisioning and saves local education agencies £1million annually. Of those entering the program, 80% graduate with either a job or in full-time education, and, after four years, 70% are still on track.

"It is amazing that, after so much hard work, a company such as Virtual Clarity recognized the value and has confidence in our methods to help problematic youngsters to create a better future for themselves," added Turn-Over founder Joeri Peperkamp.

The companies are going to give a good try of expanding the initiative to the USA in 2020.
