Proud Sponsor's of Amsterdam 7s
Since 1972, teams from around Europe have come together in the Netherlands for one of the oldest rugby tournaments in the world: the Amsterdam 7s. In its forty-fifth year, the tournament took place from June 8-10th for an explosive three days of co-ed competition, between amateurs and professionals alike. Virtual Clarity is proud to have been the title sponsor for the event, helping to support youth through sport.
Virtual Clarity gives a damn, and believes that through education and empowerment, anything is possible. The Amsterdam 7s series have also partnered with Project Turn-Over, a Dutch foundation which provides a nine-month rugby-centric programme to bring wayward youth back on the straight and narrow through sport. The programme allows at-risk youth the opportunity to be physically and mentally stimulated, motivated and supported towards taking responsibility to improve their lives through training and reintegration initiatives. The movement is in partnership and delivered by Joeri Peperkamp of Peperkamp Coaching and Training and provides a new beginning to youth across the Netherlands. These youth were awarded medals and Virtual Clarity jerseys by Cai Griffiths, rugby union player from London Welsh rugby club.
