Senior Enterprise Change Consultants

Virtual Clarity drives change in large and complex organisations through insightful analysis of the current state and effective application of new technology and support practices. Our work is largely infrastructure focussed, but often extends to the application level and the business context. We are currently seeking a small number of individuals who will become central to the development of our consultancy practice. As a Senior Consultant at Virtual Clarity, you will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to a young and growing company, while working for some of the most complex and demanding users of infrastructure services worldwide.

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Hands-on experience of infrastructure management in large enterprises with many thousands of servers and desktops, either directly or through multiple consulting engagements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of infrastructure architecture and operations, covering virtualisation and associated technologies in particular, but also extending into related areas such as orchestration, storage and networks. A broad understanding of technologies and current market direction is more important than specific technology certification.
  • An independent and insightful view of the current state of cloud computing and its implications for large enterprises, both in the data centre and on the desktop.
  • The ability to understand complex distributed applications, and their implications for infrastructure services.
  • An engaging and convincing demeanour, the ability both to develop close working relationships with client staff and the capability to win new business within a client and contribute to its fulfilment.
